What does the course do?
It is a course designed to meet the specific requirements of the student. The teacher will give you a detailed needs analysis test and also ask what language points and skills you want to focus on. Together, a tailor made language programme will be created. There are a minimum of two days on this course and it is entirely up to you if any further days or hours are added.
This course gives you the advantage of being able to spend at least two full days with a professional and experienced teacher to practise your English in real-life situations. You will also learn and analyse the target language you will use throughout the course. It is a course designed around your personal needs using a real-life interactive learning approach to help meet your objectives.
This is a course for students who prefer to have a one-to-one learning situation and for those who want the flexibility of either rigorously studying for two days and thereafter relaxing on holiday, or who want to take on a full week of intensive study.
Course Fees
A five day individual one-to-one courses is 550 GB Pounds Sterling. It is also possible to take a two day course which will cost 250 GB Pounds Sterling with the option of adding extra days as and when required. For extra days it will cost 100 GB Pounds Sterling per day. Full payment is required 30 days before the start of the course to reserve a place and the chosen dates. For any extra days added to the two day course, payment will be made the day before.
Suggested Programme
The individual one-to-one study programme below is a general outline of what a typical course might be like. It is only a guide, since each student will have different learning needs and objectives. This example programme looks at a two day course only.
Before the course day a language needs analysis test is given and a course programme created to focus on the objectives of the student.

The student meets with the teacher and participates in getting-to-know-you exercises. This is an introductory session that allows both you and the teacher to find out about each other, as well as practising your English in a relaxed setting. It is also an opportunity for the teacher to assess your level in more detail, which will help them in determining your allocated tasks for the course. |
1130 - 1200 |
A short break for refreshments. |
1200 - 1330 |
Tasks are given to the student. There will be an in-depth teaching session and discussion of the task language. |
1300 – 1430 |
Student and teacher have lunch together. |
1430 - 1600 |
The student heads out to complete the tasks given. |
1600 - 1800 |
Detailed feedback between teacher and student about the tasks. The teacher gives a set of tasks to prepare for the following day. |
1800 |
Student can head back to their accommodation to unwind. |
