Who are we?
Study English in Skye started after years of listening to students telling me that they wanted a more interactive and “real” experience of English. Together with my wife, we decided to try and realise this through the creation of interactive task-based courses with a personal and human touch.
We are a family-run study organisation that are dedicated to giving students the opportunity of using their English in real life situations. Our aim is to offer a fun and challenging learning experience as well as to build the confidence of the student in using their English.
Over the last four years my wife and I have both been teaching English in Italy and London to non-native speakers. We have taught all levels of student from all over the world, from children to adults and from those preparing for Cambridge exams to business people wanting to improve their presentation skills. During this time we have also been active as Cambridge Examiners.
We moved back to Scotland to raise our family in Skye and to start our interactive study programme for non-English speaking students wanting to get out of the classroom to use their English.
